2015 Ribolla Gialla D.O.C. Collio – 88 Pts.
Wildflower and ripe apple aromas lead the nose while the palate offers mature pear fruit and fennel touches. A pleasant bitter almond note signals the close.
2015 Friulano D.O.C. Collio – 87 Pts.
Toasted bread crust, pressed yellow flower and yellow stone fruit aromas lead the way while the linear, slightly lean palate offers yellow apple skin and citrus notes. Bright acidity lends freshness while bitter almond colors the finish.
2015 Sauvignon D.O.C. Collio – 87 Pts.
Delicate varietal aromas including elderflower, grapefruit and tomato vine follow over to the bright, linear palate. A hint of graphite lends interest to the crisp finish.
2014 Caprizi Riserva White D.O.C. Collio – 86 Pts.
This blend of 80% Malvasia, 10% Friulano and 10% Chardonnay boasts French oak, candied citrus and dill aromas that lift from the glass. The lean, racy palate offers yellow apple skin and toasted nut flavors, with firm acidity.
2015 Pinot Grigio D.O.C. Collio – 85 Pts.
This opens with subdued, mature yellow apple, acacia and almond aromas that carry over to the abrupt, tangerine-inflected palate. It has a lean, bitter finish.
